Ingredients for the Rosmolenbuurt, Zaandam

Ingredients from the Rosmolen Neighborhood is a study that investigates new strategies for the development of places such as the Rosmolen neighborhood in Zaandam. We used the metaphor of cooking with the ingredients that are at hand, and applied it to the neighborhood. Therefore we developed a method that uses what is already there to find new solutions. By using the existing ingredients of the Rosmolen neighborhood, we were able to carefully examine the current status and build up different strategies for the development of each ingredient.
We ended with a simple conclusion: we start with what we have, and we start tomorrow.
